We understand that for some students, it may not yet be the right time to travel, or you may want to build a foundation in Italian before arriving. That’s why we’ve partnered with one of Italy’s top language schools, Linguaviva, to create an online Italian course, covering the essentials of the language and start preparing you for your future studies in Italy.

This course was created and is managed by qualified Italian language teachers from Linguaviva, one of Florence’s largest and most established language schools. With more than 50 years of experience teaching Italian to international students, the school offers a reliable and high quality learning environment.
The program follows Linguaviva’s official four week curriculum and includes approximately 80 hours of intensive study designed to help students reach the A1 level. It focuses on building the essential foundations of the language and preparing learners for exams such as CELI and CILS at the equivalent level. Even if you do not plan to take a certification exam, working toward a clear goal provides structure and helps keep your learning focused and motivating.
Upon completion of the course, students will receive an official certificate from the school, which can also be used for student visa applications.

How it works
Lessons use a mix of videos, audio recordings, and written materials to create a complete learning experience. Students can also upload their own audio recordings, allowing teachers to listen and give feedback on their pronunciation.
We understand that studying online can sometimes feel a bit isolating. That’s why this course also gives you access to a learning community, where you can interact with other students and teachers, upload your homework for review, ask questions, and share notes. It’s the closest experience to learning Italian in person at a language school.

How much does it cost?
The course costs 290 euro in total. This is a great deal when compared with studying at language schools in Italy, which start at 240 euro a week.
